I love everything about the parker hotel in palm springs. Every detail from the red doors, to the swinging moroccan chairs, to the yellow and white striped pool umbrellas is pure perfection.

To many Angelenos, the Parker is Palm Springs. The former Givenchy Resort underwent a $27 million reboot back in 2004, adding 13 acres of frolicsome Jonathan Adler-designed spaces, chock-a-bloc with funky bric-a-brac (atomic chandelier meet knight in shining armor). The rooms through the lobby have a laidback eclecticism ranging from shaggy Moroccan rugs and cheeky Adler needlepoint pillows. Every detail is considered and the result is quite the eclecticc interior.

Happy Monday!It might seems like a (slight) Trina Turk overload this week, but I wanted to share my favorite shots of the ever inspiring boutique. Trina Turk is the epitome of Big, Bright & Bold and every time I visit the Palm Springs shop I am transported into an exceptionally vibrant world. The boutique merchandises Trina Turk products against diverse colorful finds, from one of a kind textile arts and hand blown glass vases to golden antelope. Jonathan Adler's lion ceramics live adjacent to vintage salt and pepper shakers. The eclectic collection reveals that beauty lies in divergent details.
