PINK PALACE: SHADES OF PINK

The Pink Palace in Waikiki - currently the Royal Hawaiian - epitomizes THE example of painting the town pink. From carpets to ceilings, the building has innumerable shades of pink which all change throughout the day. At once classic and modern, the recent renovation restored the icon to all of its tropical glory. The vibrating walls contrast against the aqua sky and lush vegetation and become bolder through the afternoon.
