OJAI: GRASS IS GREENER

 

We just returned from an incredible weekend at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and yes, the grass really is greener at this idyllic retreat. The grass, the flowers, and the succulents are too. This destination resort always impresses with its understated luxury and excellent service, but on this trip we especially noticed the verdant landscape. The gardens were blooming with vibrant succulents, glowing in the golden California light. Up close, the textured landscape resembled pop paintings: stripes of fluorescent green jumping off bright yellow canvases.
