I discovered this Palo Alto gem thanks to an architect friend who always takes me on tours of "cute and stylish" design shops. It is a bit hidden from the bustle of University Avenue, but definitely worth a visit. Dolma Tibetan Handicrafts sells beautifully patterned gift wrap, hand woven scarves, uniquey quilted saris and intricately carved jewelry.
