PETRA BLAISSE: INSIDE/OUTSIDE

Kicking off a few posts dedicated to my Chicago travels, this Petra Blaisse current still resonates with me. Although devoid of color, it is starkly bold in its scale and materials. Petra Blaisse, a textile designer from the Netherlands, often collaborates with OMA. These curtain panels were beautiful counterpoints in Rem Koolhaus's campus tribute to Mies. The curtains reflect the green foliage outside, mirroring outside to inside. See more of her work here.
