CARGO: BIZARRE BAZAAR
30 minutes at Cargo was the best 30 minutes spent in Portland. According to a Yelp reviewer, "It's kind of like someone put all of Portland's culture puzzle pieces into a bag and shook it up and threw it into a warehouse space. It's the crazy place with all the stuff."
It's seriously fantastic. And crazy. And full of stuff.
My favorite "stuff" included: chairs made of tires, Asian party decorations, the eclectic selection of kimonos, a back room with lots of architectural facades and great antique doors, and a huge collection of old foreign photographs. It's one of those places where you walk out with items you didn't know existed.
