EXPLORATORIUM: OUTSIDE IN

The new building of the San Francisco Exploratorium is focused on the science, but still takes advantage of its gorgeous location on Pier 15. As the sun peered down on the blue waters of the bay, we were fortunate for a break in the normal summer fog. It doesn't get better than sitting on the museum terrace, enjoying cappuccinos and vistas. I love the museum's screen wall, scientific patterns becoming art.
