The owners have been searching for well-designed and interesting items for close to 20 years for their previous Montclair store, and have now brought their collection to the desert.

It seems like Palm Springs is undergoing a huge design renaissance, and Palm Canyon Drive has gotten several new shops since our last visit. The city is know for its classic modern homes and now has the interiors to match.
Pelego is one of the new gems. From rainbow Chilewich door mats to cleverly colored melamine salad bowels, the shop is a stellar curation of everything cool for the modern, happy home.

The Parker grounds are always a favorite stop after a filling breakfast at Norma's. Whether in the hanging wicker cocoons in the lobby or the butterfly chaises near the fire pit, the Parker begs to be enjoyed and photographed. Hope you all have a fabulous and sun drenched weekend!

Sorry for the sparse stories during the last two weeks. Hope you can enjoy some pretty photos from our mini vacation last weekend, which now seems very very far away! At least we got the chance to escape for a few days.
I just started a new job last week, and have been focusing on work. More on this to come! In the mean time, enjoy the scenic Palm Springs Parker posts! Their Jonathan Adler interior is so fun, and really set the standard for the "quirky, bohemian modern trend" found all over LA.
