I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter holiday! It was such a beautiful weekend here in LA, the perfect weather for getting together with friends and family. We had brunch, went to mass, took a lovely stroll in Santa Monica, and even managed to savor a delicious Sunday Supper at Lucques.

The Palm Springs Art Museum 30 years of Collecting exhibition had a great collection of mid-century design. From Alexander Girard designed tablecloths to tile wall art, the retro pieces were inspiring to view in person.

From LED Wall sculptures to Peggy Guggenheim's Venice Mansion Gate replicas, the Palm Springs Art Museum definitely has something for everyone. I especially liked the wall showcasing Matisse's Jazz series Silkscreen book.

Everytime I visit Palm Springs, the Palm Springs Art Musuem is a must stop. The building itself is a work of art, embracing dessert modernism and an eclectic use of native materials. The inside atrium organizes the museum galleries, and provides a central space to display large scale hanging sculptures.

The Pei White tapestry and 70's chandeliers were my favorite finds on our latest Palm Springs Art Museum visit. Despite it's local scale, this is one of the best collections of contemporary art I have seen. The building design and outdoor sculptures contribute to the museum's unique personality and are my favorite scenes to photograph.
