SANTA CRUZ SUMMER
This 90 degree weather is definitely making me think of summer! Summertime makes me nostalgic for summer camp and hanging out at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I remember soaking up the sun and the retro rides. We got the chance to visit the boardwalk on my last trip up north, but the boardwalk wasn't yet open for the summer. Have to go back soon!

STRIPE: SANTA CRUZ LIFESTYLE
Stripe is a sensory playground, filled with carefully curated apparel, household goods, vintage, trinkety-types, bath and body delights, and super friendly staff. It's become my favorite store in Santa Cruz.

STRIPE: CASUAL COOL
Stripe, the brainchild of partners Suna Lock and Dana Norrell, provides an inspirational playground to find the best local talent.
Against a constantly evolving backdrop of in house eclectic décor, Stripe sells clothing, gifts, accessories, alongside an assortment of Mid Century furniture and vintage items. The shop offers a curated selection of affordable hand-picked pieces. I had the chance to discover this inspiring venue thanks to the always helpful Design*Sponge city guides.

STRIPE: EFFORTLESS CHIC
Downtown Santa Cruz is known for its shopping district, a wide array of recognized restaurants, and local street flavor, but Stripe proved to an extra special find. To walk into Stripe is like happening upon a favorite treasure trove: geometric necklaces, hand-crafted leather goods, luxurious bath products, and one-of-a-kind garments from local fashion designers make this fashion and housewares boutique a must stop.
