Abbot Kinney is an awesome local street, one I traveled to even when I wasn't a local. It's the best place to walk with out of town guests, and yet every time I go, I see something new. Urbanic is always a favorite. The paper boutique offers a sophisticated collection of unique cards, stylish papers, modern gifts, office accessories and custom stationery. Every time I poke inside, I discover fabulous new finds. Patterned pencils and vibrant candles are the icing on this pretty paper cake!

Abbot Kinney's Floral Art is a bright stop for a sunny California day, where nature definitely is art. The shop is the perfect spot to live, breathe, and bloom, preferably in bright orange.

Beautiful blooms are my favorite objects to photograph. The colors are so vibrant and the forms so sculptural! When I got my first camera, I somehow ended up at the botanical gardens shooting close ups of spring time flowers. Well...years later, I have discovered a gorgeous flower boutique that outshines even the best day at a botanical garden! Abbot Kinney's Floral Art definitely brings art to florals. The colors are super saturated, and the flowers artfully arranged. More sculptures than bouquets, the vessels and their blooms become perfect centerpieces.
