One of the many reasons I love LA, is that you never know what you will serendipitously find by driving around. Driving through Robertson Boulevard while running errands, I discovered this mosaic mural over the local Lululemon store. It resembles modern Aboriginal paintings, and the scale and location make it rather bold.

Shopping for a cute and sensible pair of shoes is quite the challenge. Realizing that Camper might be what I'm looking for, I braved driving two freeways in a major LA downpour to the only official Los Angeles Camper boutique. I did indeed find the perfect pair for my upcoming Moroccan adventure, but also was reminded of all the cute "Twins" they sell. Thinking outside of the traditional shoe box, the Spanish shoe company produces limited edition "Twins" - asymmetrical shoes with different designs for the left and right foot. I love their recent collaborations with diverse artists. I will definitely be back much too soon!

More, more and more! The side by side pattern groupings at Haus Interior are perfect pairs. Navajo next to Hollywood Regency somehow works. The store is minimalist and decadent, modern and traditional: the perfect mix of LA contrasts.
